Why is my Kia Ceed experiencing rough idling?

I have a 2019 Kia Ceed and it has been experiencing rough idling lately. Whenever I'm at a stop, the car shakes and the RPMs seem to drop. This has never happened before. What could be causing this and what steps can I take to fix it?

The rough idling could be caused by a few different things. It could be due to a clogged air filter, dirty fuel injectors, or a problem with the spark plugs. I suggest checking these components first and replacing them if necessary.

Another possibility could be a faulty idle control valve. This valve controls the idle speed of the engine and if it's not functioning properly, it can cause rough idling. I recommend having a mechanic check this as it may require professional repair.

In some cases, rough idling can be caused by a problem with the EGR valve. This valve recirculates exhaust gases back into the engine for better fuel efficiency. It may be clogged or malfunctioning, so have it inspected and cleaned if needed.
