Why is my Kia Ceed making a clicking noise when I turn the steering wheel?

I recently noticed that my Kia Ceed is making a clicking noise whenever I turn the steering wheel. It seems to be coming from the front of the car. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

John, it sounds like you may have a problem with your CV joint. This is a common issue in Kia Ceed models. The clicking noise is usually caused by a worn or damaged CV joint, which is responsible for transferring power from the engine to the wheels. If left unchecked, this could lead to further damage and even a breakdown.

Hi John, another possible cause for the clicking noise could be a problem with your power steering system. This could be due to low power steering fluid or a faulty power steering pump. It's important to have this issue checked by a mechanic as soon as possible to avoid any potential safety hazards while driving.

Hey John, make sure to also check your wheel bearings as they could also cause a clicking noise when they are worn out. If the noise is accompanied by a vibrating sensation in the steering wheel, it's a good indication that the wheel bearings need to be replaced.
