Why is my Kia Ceed making a clicking sound when I turn the steering wheel?

I recently noticed that my Kia Ceed is making a clicking sound when I turn the steering wheel. It only happens while I'm driving and it seems to be coming from the front of the car. Can anyone tell me what could be causing this issue and if it's something I should be concerned about?

It's possible that your car's CV joint may be worn out and needs to be replaced. You should have it checked by a mechanic as driving with a faulty CV joint can cause further damage and can even lead to a breakdown.

Another possible cause could be a loose or worn out steering linkage. This can also cause a clicking sound when turning. I suggest having a mechanic inspect your car to determine the exact cause of the issue.

If your car is equipped with power steering, it's possible that the power steering pump may be failing. This can also cause a clicking sound when turning. I recommend having a mechanic check the pump and replace if necessary.
