The most common cause of engine overheating is a low coolant level. Check the coolant reservoir and top it off if necessary. If the level is consistently low, there may be a leak in the system that needs to be fixed.

Another possible cause could be a malfunctioning cooling fan. The fan helps to keep the engine cool by pulling air through the radiator. If the fan is not working properly, the engine may overheat.

It is also possible that the problem lies with the thermostat. This component regulates the temperature of the coolant in the engine. If it is stuck closed, the coolant cannot flow and the engine will overheat.

D

In some cases, the culprit may be a clogged radiator. Over time, debris and dirt can build up in the radiator and block the flow of coolant, causing the engine to overheat. A professional cleaning may be necessary.
