I recently purchased a Kia Ceed and have noticed a slight vibration when I accelerate. It seems to be coming from the front of the car. It doesn't happen all the time but it's definitely noticeable. What could be causing this and is it something I should be concerned about?
ReplyHi Samantha, congratulations on your new Kia Ceed! It's normal for a car to have some vibrations while accelerating, but if it's excessive or happens consistently, it could indicate an issue with your engine or exhaust system. I recommend taking your car to a trusted mechanic to get it checked out, just to be safe.
Hey Samantha, I had the same issue with my Kia Ceed and it turned out to be a loose bolt on one of the engine mounts. It's an easy fix, so I suggest having a mechanic take a look and tighten any loose bolts they find. That should help reduce or eliminate the vibrations.
