Why Is My Kia Niro's Battery Not Holding a Charge?

I recently purchased a Kia Niro and I've noticed that my battery seems to drain quickly or is not holding a charge at all. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?

One potential cause could be that your battery is old and needs to be replaced. Check the age of your battery and if it's been more than 3-5 years, consider getting a new one.

Another possibility is that you have a parasitic drain on your battery. This can happen if there is a faulty electrical component drawing power even when the car is off. Have a mechanic check for any issues.

You may also want to check that all of your car's electrical components are turned off when the car is not in use, as even a small drain can add up over time.
