Why is my Kia Niro's electric motor not working?

I recently purchased a Kia Niro and have been primarily using its electric motor. However, for some reason, it has suddenly stopped working. The hybrid engine still runs, but I would like to know why the electric motor is not functioning. Any tips on how to fix this issue?
