Why is my Kia ProCeed's engine making a clicking noise?

I've noticed that my Kia ProCeed's engine is making a clicking noise when I accelerate. This just started happening recently and I'm not sure what could be causing it. Can someone help me figure out the issue?

Hi Emily, this clicking noise could be caused by a variety of issues such as worn out bearings, a loose pulley, or even low oil levels. I would recommend taking your car to a mechanic for a thorough inspection to determine the exact cause. Better to address the issue now before it turns into something more serious.

Hey Emily, I had a similar issue with my Kia ProCeed and it turned out to be a faulty valve lifter. This is a common issue with this model so I would suggest checking that first. If it's not the problem, then definitely take it to a mechanic to get it checked out.

Hi Emily, I would recommend checking your spark plugs and ignition coils. Sometimes a misfiring engine can cause a clicking noise. If those components are fine, then I would suggest taking it to a reputable mechanic for further diagnosis.
