Why is my Kia Rio making a clicking noise when I turn the steering wheel?

I have noticed that every time I turn the steering wheel in my Kia Rio, there is a clicking noise coming from the front of the car. It doesn't seem to affect the performance of the car, but it is concerning. What could be causing this and is it something I should be worried about?

This could be a sign of worn out CV joints. They are responsible for transferring power from the engine to the wheels and can wear out over time. It is recommended to have them inspected and replaced if necessary.

The clicking noise could also be caused by a loose steering component, such as the tie rods or ball joints. It is best to have a mechanic take a look and tighten or replace any worn out parts.

Another possibility could be a problem with the power steering system. If the power steering fluid is low or contaminated, it can cause issues with the steering mechanism and lead to a clicking noise. Have the fluid checked and changed if needed.
