Why is my Kia Rio making a clunking noise when I turn?

I recently noticed that my Kia Rio is making a clunking noise whenever I make a turn, regardless of the direction. It seems to be coming from the front of the car. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

It is possible that your Kia Rio's CV joints are worn out and need to be replaced. This is a common issue with older cars and can cause clunking noises when turning. I would recommend taking it to a mechanic to have it checked and replaced if necessary.

Another possible cause could be worn out or damaged control arm bushings. These are responsible for absorbing vibrations and movements while driving and can wear out over time. I suggest getting them checked and replaced by a mechanic.

Make sure to also check the power steering system, as a malfunctioning power steering pump or loose belt could also be causing the clunking noise. This is an important component of your car and should be checked regularly.
