Why is my Kia Soul making a clunking noise?

I've noticed a clunking noise coming from my Kia Soul recently. It seems to be most noticeable when turning or going over bumps. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

The clunking noise could be caused by a loose or worn control arm bushing. It's best to have a mechanic check and replace this if necessary.

It could also be a worn out strut mount or strut bearing. This can be a bit more involved to fix, so I suggest taking it to a trusted mechanic.

Another possibility is a problem with the sway bar links. These are relatively easy and inexpensive to replace, so it's worth checking them out.
