Why is my Kia Soul's engine making a clicking sound?

I recently purchased a Kia Soul and have been noticing a clicking sound coming from the engine. It doesn't seem to affect the performance of the car, but I'm worried it could be a sign of a larger issue. Has anyone else experienced this problem or know what could be causing it?

It's possible that your engine is just in need of an oil change. I would recommend getting that done and see if the clicking sound goes away. If it continues, then it could be something more serious.

I had the same issue with my Kia Soul and it turned out to be a faulty engine valve. I had to have it replaced, but it's been running smoothly since then.
