Why is my Kia Soul stalling at stop lights?

I just got a brand new Kia Soul and I've noticed that it often stalls when I come to a stop at lights. It stops suddenly and then picks up again as if nothing happened. This is really concerning and I'm not sure what could be causing it. Can anyone help me figure this out?
