Hey Marie, rough handling can also be caused by an issue with the power steering system. If you notice your steering feels stiff or jerky, it's possible that the power steering fluid may be low or contaminated. It's recommended to have a professional mechanic check the fluid and system to see if any repairs are needed. In the meantime, you can also try checking and topping off the power steering fluid yourself.

Hi Marie, I had a similar issue with my Sportage and it turned out to be a problem with the wheel bearings. If you're also experiencing a humming or grinding noise while driving, this could be the cause. It's important to have a mechanic replace worn or damaged wheel bearings as soon as possible to prevent further damage to your vehicle. Don't wait too long to get it checked out!

Hi Marie, rough handling in a Kia Sportage can be caused by a few issues. One possibility is that your tires may be worn or underinflated. Check your tire pressure and tread depth to ensure they are within the recommended levels. Additionally, worn suspension components like shocks and struts can also contribute to rough handling. It's worth having a mechanic inspect these parts to see if they need to be replaced. Lastly, make sure you are keeping up with regular maintenance, such as alignments, to ensure your Sportage is running at its best.
