Recently, I have noticed that my Kia Sportage is making a clicking sound whenever I turn the steering wheel. It seems to be coming from the front end of the car and happens every time I make a turn, no matter how large or small. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?
ReplyIt sounds like you may have an issue with your CV joint. This can happen when the protective boot becomes damaged or worn, allowing dirt and debris to get inside and cause clicking noises. I would recommend getting your car inspected by a mechanic as soon as possible before the issue worsens.
I had a similar issue with my Kia Sportage and it turned out to be a problem with the power steering pump. The clicking noise was caused by air bubbles in the fluid, so I had to get the pump flushed and refilled. Make sure to check your power steering fluid levels and have a mechanic take a look if they are low.
