Why is my Kia Sportage making a strange noise when I turn left?

Lately, whenever I turn left while driving my Kia Sportage, I hear a strange noise coming from the front left side of the car. It's not a constant noise, but it happens every time I turn left. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

There are a few potential causes for the strange noise you're hearing while turning left in your Kia Sportage. One possibility is that there is an issue with the steering system, such as a worn out or loose steering belt. It could also be a problem with the suspension, such as worn out or damaged control arm bushings. Another possibility is that the front wheel bearings are worn out and need to be replaced. It's important to have a mechanic diagnose and fix the problem before it potentially becomes more serious.

I had a similar issue with my Kia Sportage and it turned out to be a problem with the power steering fluid. Make sure to check the level and condition of your power steering fluid, as low or dirty fluid can cause strange noises while turning. If the fluid is low, top it off and see if the noise stops. If not, have a mechanic check for any leaks in the system.

Another possibility is that there is something caught in the wheel well or under the car, causing the noise when turning. Take a look under the car and check for any debris or loose parts that could be causing the noise. If you don't see anything obvious, it's best to have a mechanic take a closer look.
