Why is my Kia Stonic's engine making a knocking sound?

I recently noticed that my Kia Stonic's engine is making a knocking sound while idling. Is this normal or should I be concerned? What could be causing this and what should I do about it?

It's always best to err on the side of caution and have your Kia Stonic checked out by a mechanic. The knocking sound could be a sign of a larger issue, or it could be something minor. Either way, it's better to have it looked at sooner rather than later.

There are a few possible reasons for the knocking sound. It could be due to low oil pressure or a faulty timing belt. I recommend bringing your car to a trusted mechanic for a thorough inspection and diagnosis.

I had a similar issue with my Kia Stonic and it turned out to be an issue with the fuel injectors. The knocking sound went away after they were replaced. I suggest taking your car to a Kia dealership for a proper diagnosis and to ensure any repairs are covered under warranty.
