Why is my Kia Stonic's engine making a loud ticking noise?

I have noticed that my Kia Stonic's engine makes a loud ticking noise when it's idling. It seems to get louder when I accelerate. What could be causing this and is there a way to fix it?

It's possible that your engine is low on oil or that the oil needs to be changed. I recommend checking your oil level and getting an oil change if needed. If the issue persists, it could be a sign of a larger engine problem.

Another possible cause could be a problem with your valves or valve lifters. I suggest taking your Kia Stonic to a trusted mechanic to have it checked out. They will be able to diagnose the issue and advise you on the best course of action.

In some cases, the loud ticking noise could be coming from a loose or damaged engine component, such as a belt or pulley. I recommend taking your car to a mechanic to have it inspected and repaired as necessary.
