Why is the oil level in my Kia Ceed dropping?

I have noticed that the oil level in my Kia Ceed is decreasing over time. I always make sure to regularly top it up, but it seems like it is using more oil than it should. Is this a cause for concern and what could be causing it?

It is normal for a car to use a certain amount of oil over time, especially if you are driving at high speeds or on rough roads. However, if you are noticing a significant decrease in oil level, it could be a sign of a larger problem.

One possible cause for the oil level dropping could be a leak in the oil pan or oil filter. It is important to get this checked out by a mechanic as soon as possible to prevent any further damage to your engine.

Another reason for the decrease in oil level could be due to a faulty oil pressure sensor. This can cause the oil to not be properly circulated throughout the engine, leading to a decrease in oil level. I suggest getting this checked and replaced if necessary.
