How do I adjust the tailgate height on my Kia Sorento?

I have a Kia Sorento and can't figure out how to adjust the tailgate height. It seems to be stuck in one position. How can I adjust it to make it easier to use?

To adjust the tailgate height on your Kia Sorento, locate the small lever on the top of the tailgate. Push the lever towards the car to lower the tailgate height or pull it away from the car to raise the height. Make sure to hold the tailgate in the desired position as you adjust the lever.

I had the same issue and found that the tailgate height adjustment is controlled by a small motor located on the underside of the tailgate. It may need to be replaced or repaired if it's not functioning properly.

One easy way to adjust the tailgate height without using the lever is to simply push down on the tailgate while pulling the lever away from the car. This will allow you to adjust the height without having to hold the tailgate in place.
