I recently bought a Kia ProCeed and I'm not sure how to properly check the oil level. Can someone guide me through the process and explain what to look for?
ReplyHi Samantha! First, park your Kia ProCeed on level ground and make sure the engine is turned off. Locate the dipstick, which is usually labeled 'oil' and has a bright colored handle. Pull out the dipstick and wipe it clean with a cloth or paper towel. Then reinsert the dipstick all the way back into the tube. Once you pull out the dipstick again, check the oil level against the markings on the dipstick. If the oil level is between the 'max' and 'min' mark, you're good to go!
Hey Samantha, checking the oil level in your Kia ProCeed is super easy! Just remember to do it when the engine is cold to get an accurate reading. The dipstick is usually located near the front of the engine and has a yellow handle. Make sure your car is on level ground and follow the same process of wiping the dipstick clean and reinserting it back into the tube. If the oil level is below the 'min' mark, it's time for a top-up!
