How do I check the oil level on my Kia Stonic?

I just bought a Kia Stonic and I want to make sure I am properly maintaining it. Can you guide me on how to check the oil level and what to look for when doing so?

To check the oil level on your Kia Stonic, park on a level surface and wait for the engine to cool down. Locate the dipstick, usually labeled with an oil can symbol, under the hood. Pull it out and wipe it clean with a cloth. Reinsert the dipstick, then pull it out again and check where the oil level is on the stick. If it's below the minimum line, you will need to add more oil.

Step 1: Make sure the car is parked on a level surface and the engine is cool. Step 2: Open the hood and locate the dipstick. Step 3: Pull out the dipstick and wipe it clean. Step 4: Reinsert the dipstick and pull it out again. The oil level should be between the minimum and maximum lines. If it's below the minimum line, you need to add more oil.

Checking your oil level regularly is an important part of car maintenance. To do so, park your Kia Stonic on a level surface and wait for the engine to cool down. Then, pull out the dipstick, wipe it clean, and reinsert it. Finally, pull it out again and check the oil level. If it's low, add more oil.
