How do I know which type of oil to use for my Kia Ceed?

I just bought a Kia Ceed and I'm not sure what type of oil it requires. Can you please advise me on the best oil to use for my car?

It's important to check the owner's manual or consult with a mechanic to determine the recommended oil for your specific Kia Ceed model. Using the wrong type of oil can have a negative impact on your car's performance and longevity.

Generally, modern Kia Ceed models require a synthetic 5W-30 oil. This type of oil provides better protection and performance compared to conventional oils, especially in extreme temperatures.

If you live in a hot climate, you may want to use a slightly thicker oil such as 10W-30. However, if you live in a colder climate, a thinner oil like 0W-20 may be more suitable for better engine performance.
