How do I properly maintain the tire pressure in my Kia Stonic?

I recently purchased a Kia Stonic and I'm not sure how often I should check the tire pressure and how much air should I fill in. Can you provide some helpful advice?

It's important to regularly check your tire pressure, ideally every month or before long trips. You can consult your vehicle's manual for the recommended tire pressure. Make sure to also check the pressure in the spare tire.

An easy way to remember how much air to put in is to remember the rule of '4-8-12'. This means that for every 4 degrees Celsius change in temperature, your tires will either lose or gain approximately 1 psi of air pressure. Keep this in mind especially during colder months.

As a general rule, it's always better to slightly over-inflate your tires than to under-inflate them. However, be sure not to exceed the maximum pressure indicated on the tire.
