How do I reset the maintenance reminder on a Kia Sportage?

I recently purchased a 2020 Kia Sportage and the maintenance reminder light is constantly flashing. How do I reset it so that it stops flashing?

To reset the maintenance reminder on your Kia Sportage, turn the ignition to the 'On' position without starting the engine. Then, press and hold the 'Reset' button on the dashboard until the maintenance reminder light turns off.

I had the same issue with my Kia Sportage. I found that disconnecting the negative battery cable and waiting for a few minutes before reconnecting it also resets the maintenance reminder.
