How do I reset the tire pressure monitoring system on my Kia Sorento?

I have a 2015 Kia Sorento and the tire pressure light keeps coming on even though I've checked and filled all the tires. Is there a way to reset the tire pressure monitoring system without taking it to a dealership?

Hi Samantha, I've had the same issue with my Sorento. To reset the tire pressure monitoring system, you can follow these steps: 1) Park the car in a safe and level place, 2) Turn the ignition to the 'ON' position, 3) Press and hold the Tire Pressure Monitoring System button until the light blinks three times, 4) Let go of the button and wait for a few minutes, 5) Start the car and the light should turn off. If it doesn't, you may have a faulty sensor.

Hi Samantha, I've had this issue with my Sorento before and it turned out that one of my tires had a slow leak. Make sure to check the tires with a pressure gauge to ensure they are at the correct pressure. If they are and the light is still on, you can try resetting the system as mentioned in the other answer. If that doesn't work, you may need to take it to a dealership to diagnose the issue.
