How do I reset the tire pressure on my Kia Soul?

I have a Kia Soul and the low tire pressure light came on. What steps do I need to take in order to reset the tire pressure and get the light to turn off?

First, check the tire pressure on all four tires with a tire pressure gauge. The recommended tire pressure for the Kia Soul is typically 35 PSI. If any of the tires have significantly lower pressure, fill them up with air until they reach the recommended 35 PSI. Then, locate the tire pressure reset button inside the glove box of your Kia Soul. Press and hold the button until the light on your dashboard flashes and then turns off.

If you can't find the tire pressure reset button inside the glove box, try looking for it under the steering wheel. It should be located near the OBD-II port. If you still can't find it, consult your Kia Soul's owner's manual for specific instructions.

Another potential reason for the low tire pressure light on your Kia Soul is a faulty tire pressure sensor. If the light continues to stay on even after you have checked and reset the tire pressure, it may be worth taking your car to a mechanic to have the sensor checked and potentially replaced.
