How often should I change the engine oil on my Kia Rio?

I recently bought a Kia Rio and I want to make sure I am properly maintaining the engine. How often should I change the engine oil?

It is recommended to change the engine oil every 5,000 to 7,500 miles, or every 6 months, whichever comes first.

I personally change the oil every 3,000 miles, just to be safe.

If you're driving in extreme weather conditions or towing frequently, it's best to change the oil more frequently.
