How often should I change the oil in a Kia Ceed?

I'm the proud owner of a Kia Ceed and I want to make sure I'm taking proper care of it. How often should I change the oil? What type of oil should I use? Are there any other maintenance tasks I should be aware of?

It is recommended to change the oil every 5,000-7,500 miles or every 6-12 months, whichever comes first. Consult your owner's manual for specific recommendations.

For the Kia Ceed, it's best to use a fully synthetic or semi-synthetic oil that meets the API or ACEA standards. You can check the owner's manual or consult with a certified Kia technician for the exact oil type and viscosity recommended for your vehicle.

Besides changing the oil, make sure to also regularly check and top off other fluids such as coolant, brake fluid, and transmission fluid. Also, keep up with tire rotations and replace air and cabin filters on a regular basis.
