How to adjust the headlights on a Kia Ceed?

I've noticed that the headlights on my Kia Ceed are not properly aligned, resulting in poor visibility at night. What is the best way to adjust the headlights to ensure maximum visibility while driving?

The first step is to park your Kia Ceed on a level surface and make sure the headlights are facing a flat wall or garage door.

M

Locate the headlight adjusters under the hood of your car. These are usually small screws or knobs that can be turned with a screwdriver or pliers.

E

Use a measuring tape to determine the exact height of the center of each headlight, and then mark this position on the garage door or wall with a piece of tape.

K

Turn the adjusters to move the headlights up or down until the beams align with the marked spots on the wall or door.

M

Check the horizontal alignment of the headlights by measuring the distance between the center of each headlight and the ground. They should be equal on both sides.

D

If your headlights are still not properly aligned, it is recommended to visit a mechanic for a professional adjustment.
