First, locate the tire pressure specifications for your specific Kia Sportage model. These can usually be found in the owner's manual or on a sticker inside the driver's side door jamb.

Next, use a tire pressure gauge to check each tire's pressure. Make sure the car has been sitting for a few hours and the tires are cold, as heat can affect their pressure.

If the pressure is too low, use an air compressor or stop by a gas station to add air. Don't forget to check the spare tire as well.

On the other hand, if the pressure is too high, use a gauge or release air by pressing on the center of the tire valve with a small tool or your fingernail.

As a general rule, it's recommended to check tire pressure at least once a month and before any long trips. Properly inflated tires can improve fuel economy and prolong the life of your tires.
