Firstly, make sure you have all the necessary tools - oil filter wrench, oil filter, oil pan, new oil, etc. Then, locate the oil filter and oil drain plug and have your oil pan ready. Next, remove the drain plug and let the old oil drain out completely. Once drained, replace the drain plug and the oil filter. Lastly, fill the engine with the recommended amount of new oil. Be sure to dispose of the old oil properly.

Before starting the process, warm up your Kia Ceed for a few minutes to make the oil easier to drain. When removing the oil filter, be careful not to spill any oil on yourself or the car. Double check that the oil drain plug is tightly secured before filling up with new oil. You can also refer to the owner's manual for specific instructions.

One important tip is to never mix new and old oil together as it can affect the performance of the engine. Furthermore, if you're not comfortable with changing the oil yourself, it's always best to take your car to a trusted mechanic.
