Why does my Kia Ceed make a strange noise when I turn the steering wheel?

I recently noticed that my Kia Ceed makes a strange noise every time I turn the steering wheel. It's been happening for a few days now and I'm starting to get worried. What could be causing this noise and how can I fix it?

It's possible that the power steering fluid is low or contaminated, causing the noise. You should check the fluid level and if it's low, top it up with the recommended type of fluid and see if the noise stops.

Another possible cause could be a worn or damaged power steering belt. If the belt is loose or cracked, it can cause the power steering pump to make a noise. You should have the belt checked and replaced if necessary.

If the noise only happens when the car is cold, it could be due to air bubbles in the power steering system. You can try bleeding the system to get rid of the bubbles or take it to a mechanic for a proper diagnosis.
