Why does my Kia Rio make a ticking noise when I start the engine?

I have a Kia Rio and every time I start the engine, it makes a loud ticking noise that goes away after a few minutes. It's been happening for a few weeks now and I'm not sure what's causing it. Is this something to be concerned about?

It's possible that the ticking noise is coming from a worn out oil pump. Checking and replacing the oil pump can help get rid of the noise and prevent further damage to your engine.

Another potential cause of the ticking noise could be a loose or worn out fan belt. Check the belt for any cracks or looseness and replace if necessary.

It's also possible that your Kia Rio has a faulty valve train, which is responsible for controlling the intake and exhaust flow in the engine. A mechanic can help diagnose and fix this issue.
