Why does my Kia Sorento's engine make a clicking noise?

I have recently noticed that my Kia Sorento is making a clicking noise while the engine is running. It is not a consistent noise and seems to happen randomly. What could be causing this issue and should I be concerned?

The most common cause of clicking noises in a Kia Sorento engine is low oil levels. Make sure to check your oil level and top it off if needed.

Another possible cause of clicking noises could be a loose or worn out belt. Check all the belts under the hood and tighten or replace them if necessary.

In some cases, the clicking noise could be caused by a faulty valve train. It is recommended to take your Kia Sorento to a mechanic for a thorough inspection.
