Why is my Kia Picanto constantly overheating?

I recently purchased a Kia Picanto and have noticed that the temperature gauge keeps going up while I'm driving. What could be causing this and what should I do?

First, check your coolant levels. If they are low, then you may have a leak in your coolant system. Next, check the radiator and make sure it is not clogged with debris. If neither of these are the issue, then it could be a problem with your thermostat. It's best to take it to a mechanic to have it checked out.

I had the same issue with my Kia Picanto and it turned out to be a faulty water pump. Make sure to have that checked out as well.

Another common issue with the Kia Picanto is a buildup of air in the cooling system. This can cause overheating. Bleed the air out of the system and see if that helps.
