Why is my Kia Picanto experiencing engine knocking?

I recently bought a Kia Picanto and noticed that the engine is making a knocking sound whenever I accelerate. I've checked the oil and it's at the right level. What could be causing this issue?

It's possible that your Kia Picanto's spark plugs are worn out or improperly gapped. This can cause engine knocking noises. I recommend taking your car to a mechanic to have the spark plugs checked and replaced if necessary.

Another common cause of engine knocking in Kia Picantos is low quality or old fuel. Make sure you are using fuel with the correct octane rating for your car and consider adding a fuel additive to help clean out any deposits in the engine.

If you notice the knocking sound mostly when the engine is cold, it could be a sign of low oil pressure or a faulty oil pump. Get your car inspected by a professional as soon as possible to prevent further damage.
