Why is my Kia Rio engine making a knocking sound?

I recently purchased a used Kia Rio and I've noticed that the engine makes a knocking sound when I accelerate. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

There could be several reasons why your engine is making a knocking sound. It could be due to low oil levels, worn out spark plugs, or a faulty fuel injector. I recommend taking your Kia Rio to a trusted mechanic for a thorough inspection to determine the exact cause of the issue.

I had the same issue with my Kia Rio and it turned out to be a faulty engine mount. I suggest taking your car to a mechanic and having them check all the engine mounts to see if any need to be replaced.

I had a similar problem with my Kia Rio and it was due to a loose heat shield. Check underneath your car to see if any of the heat shields are loose or damaged.
