Why is my Kia Rio stalling when I start it?

I've noticed that my Kia Rio has been stalling when I start it lately. It doesn't happen all the time but it's definitely becoming more frequent. What could be causing this issue?

It's also possible that the idle air control valve is dirty or malfunctioning. This valve helps control the engine's idle speed and if it's dirty or faulty, it may cause stalling. I would suggest having a mechanic clean or replace the idle air control valve.

There could be a few potential causes for your Kia Rio stalling when starting. One possibility is a dirty air filter. If the air filter is clogged, it can restrict air flow to the engine and cause it to stall. I would recommend checking and replacing the air filter if needed.

Another potential cause could be a faulty fuel pump. If the fuel pump is not working properly, it may not be providing enough fuel to the engine, causing it to stall. Consider having a mechanic check the fuel pump and replace it if necessary.
