There are a few warning signs to look out for when it comes to worn brake pads. These include squeaking or grinding noises, vibrating or shaking when you brake, and a warning light on your dashboard. If you experience any of these, it is time to get your brake pads checked.

A good rule of thumb is to replace your brake pads every 50,000 miles. However, this can vary depending on your driving habits and the conditions you drive in. It is always a good idea to get them checked by a mechanic at least once a year.

If it has been a while since you last checked your brake pads, it is probably time to get them replaced. Waiting too long can lead to more serious and expensive damage to your car.
