How do I reset the tire pressure light on a Kia Soul?

I bought a Kia Soul last week and the tire pressure light just turned on. I checked all the tires and they seem fine. How do I reset the light?

You can reset the tire pressure light by following these steps: 1. Make sure all tires are properly inflated 2. Turn off the car 3. Turn the ignition to ON/RUN position 4. Immediately press the TPMS RESET button, located under the steering wheel, until the TPMS light blinks twice. 5. Start the car and drive for at least 20 minutes to allow the system to calibrate.

I had the same issue with my Kia Soul. Make sure you inflate the tires to the recommended pressure listed on the sticker inside the driver's door. If the light doesn't turn off after following the steps mentioned above, it's best to take it to a Kia dealership for proper diagnosis.

I've had success with resetting the tire pressure light by disconnecting the negative battery terminal for a few minutes. Make sure to have a code reader handy in case any other warning lights come on.
