How do regenerative brakes work in the Kia EV6?

I've heard that the Kia EV6 has regenerative brakes, but I'm not sure how they work. Can you explain it to me?

S

Regenerative brakes use the electric motor to slow and stop the car, instead of traditional friction brakes. This allows the car to capture kinetic energy and store it in the battery, increasing overall efficiency.

When you press the brake pedal in the Kia EV6, the electric motor switches to generator mode and uses the car's momentum to recharge the battery. This not only helps with efficiency, but also reduces wear and tear on the brake pads.

In addition to using regenerative braking, you can also increase efficiency by using the 'i-Pedal' mode in the Kia EV6. This allows you to control the car's speed with just one pedal, removing the need for constant braking and accelerating.
