What does the Eco mode do in a Kia Rio?

I recently purchased a Kia Rio and noticed there is an Eco mode option. Can you explain what this mode does and if it's worth using?

Eco mode adjusts the car's engine and transmission to maximize fuel efficiency. It may be beneficial to use for daily commutes or long trips, but keep in mind it may affect the car's performance.

The Eco mode is great for saving gas and reducing emissions. It may take some getting used to if you're used to driving in a different mode, but it's worth it for the environment.

I've found that the Eco mode can make the car feel sluggish. Unless I'm trying to save gas, I prefer to drive in the normal mode.
