What is the purpose of the Kia Soul's Drive Mode Select feature?

I recently bought a Kia Soul and noticed it has a Drive Mode Select feature. Can someone explain to me what this feature is for and how it works?

The Drive Mode Select feature allows you to adjust the driving dynamics of your Kia Soul according to your personal preferences. This feature offers three modes: Normal, Eco, and Sport.

In Normal mode, your Kia Soul will provide a balanced driving experience. The Eco mode will prioritize fuel efficiency, while the Sport mode will enhance the car's performance for a more engaging drive.

I personally recommend using the Eco mode for daily commutes to save gas, and switching to Sport mode during highway driving or when you want a more spirited drive.
