I have noticed that my Kia Sportage engine has been making a rattling noise for the past few weeks. It seems to be coming from the front of the car and gets louder when I accelerate. What could be causing this and what should I do to fix it?
ReplyIt's possible that you have a loose or worn out engine belt. This can cause a rattling noise when the engine is running. I would recommend having a mechanic take a look at it and potentially replace the belt if necessary.
Another possible cause could be a problem with the engine mounts. If these are worn or damaged, the engine may not be secured properly and can vibrate, resulting in a rattling noise. I would suggest getting the mounts inspected and replaced if needed.
