I have a Kia Rio and recently I've noticed that the engine temperature gauge has been reaching near the red zone. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?
ReplyOne possible reason for your engine overheating could be a faulty radiator fan. You can test this by turning on your car and letting it idle for a few minutes. If the fan doesn't kick on, then it may need to be replaced.
Another common cause of overheating is a low coolant level. Check your coolant reservoir and top it off if needed. If you notice the level is frequently low, there may be a leak in the system that needs to be addressed.
